Forest green and purple nails with a bit of sparkle

Hello everyone (^-^)/

Today I want to show you the mani I had while in Germany. Since it was the first time I had some KIKO and P2 polishes, I wanted to try them out.

I used Kiko 347, a beautiful forest green and P2 Poetic, a pretty purple. For a bit of a twist I used Kiko 270 on a couple of nails.

Although it was a simple look, I got a lot of compliments.

My friend T-chan loved it so much that she wanted it on her nails too but in pink and red. So I used Essence Flamingo Rose and Divalicious Red instead.

What do you think? (^∇^)

Zoya Mirrors collection skittle manicure

Hello everyone ^_^/

Today I have a very exciting mani to show you (at least it's exciting for me XD)

As soon as I saw the first swatches of the Zoya Mirrors collection for this fall, I knew I had to have them. Glitters and metallics in interesting combinations, what's not to like? When my package arrived, I was amazed by all the beautiful colours.

Each was so special that I didn't know which one to pick for a mani. Instead I decided to simply pick them all and do a skittles mani. I used 5 of the 6 nail polishes in this collection.

From left to right you can see Tao, Nimue, Yara, Neeka and Marina.

I used two coats of each colour over basecoat (Color Club's vitabase) and two coats of Essence Better Than Gel Nails topcoat.

What do you think? Have you tried any of these colours or are you planning on buying any?

I love skittle manis as I get the chance to try more than one colours at the same time ^_^

Nails, nails and more nails!

Hello everyone ^_^/

As my vacation goes on, I wanted to show you some nails I did for friends lately.

First up is a holographic mani with a gothic feel that I did for my friend Sophia BSC.

I used NfuOh #63 and Deborah Lipmann Bad Romance as my base colours. Adding some black BarryM crackle and a few Japanese nail decals, the end result was quite impressive ^_^

Next up is P. She is my best friend since forever and she generally doesn't like painting her nails. But when she saw Hard Candy's Mr Right she wanted to give it a go. After applying two coats of the polish I used a coat of the BYS matte top coat for a more interesting look. She loved it and said it looked like leather.

And finally the usual suspect, T-chan. I always love doing her nails as she has such pretty hands and nails perfect for every look. This time we went for a simple duochrome that I picked up at Claire's when I was in Vienna. The colour changes from blue to green, with hints of purple.

That's all from me for today.

On a sidenote don't forget to enter my Let's celebrate summer Giveaway for a chance to win some really cute jewellery, it's open until August 15 ^___^

August nail inspiration

Hello everyone ^_^/

My first August post is a bit late as I am currently on vacation and do not sit on the pc as much as I thought I would. Since this is the first post of the month, here are some nail art ideas from Japan.

This time the inspiration comes from the summer edition of Nail Venus.

First here is a Marine Girl look.

A colour that is really cool for a summer look on your nails is navy.

The pastel trend goes strong too.

For a more intense look you can try some neon colours!

And since in the summer we can show off our toes while wearing sandals, here are some pedi ideas too.

That's all for this month's nail inspiration post. Will you be trying any of these looks?

I will catch up with my blog reading and commenting when I return. I hope you're all having a good time ^_^
