Zoya Mirrors collection skittle manicure
Hello everyone ^_^/
Today I have a very exciting mani to show you (at least it's exciting for me XD)
As soon as I saw the first swatches of the Zoya Mirrors collection for this fall, I knew I had to have them. Glitters and metallics in interesting combinations, what's not to like? When my package arrived, I was amazed by all the beautiful colours.
Each was so special that I didn't know which one to pick for a mani. Instead I decided to simply pick them all and do a skittles mani. I used 5 of the 6 nail polishes in this collection.
From left to right you can see Tao, Nimue, Yara, Neeka and Marina.
I used two coats of each colour over basecoat (Color Club's vitabase) and two coats of Essence Better Than Gel Nails topcoat.
What do you think? Have you tried any of these colours or are you planning on buying any?
I love skittle manis as I get the chance to try more than one colours at the same time ^_^
p.s. for bigger versions of the photos you can simply click on them.

Ozotic Pro 506, a multichrome party!
Hello everyone ^_^/
As promised in my previous post, today I will show you one of the fabulous Ozotic Pro multichromatic nail polishes in an actual manicure. I chose number 506, which has hints of blue, pink and purple.
For my base I used Orly Royal Navy and Zoya Jacy. I wanted to see if the base coat makes any difference or not so I applied two coats of each over base coat as you can see in the pictures below.
Both colours are very pretty and vibrant and I could just keep my nails like that for a few days but at the time I was itching to test the Ozotic goodness.
I applied two coats of Ozotic Pro #506 and then a coat of Seche Vite topcoat to seal everything.
There are no words to describe how pretty this nail polish is. Depending on how I moved my nails, all my favourite colours would appear. Purple, blue and pink being the most dominant on my nails. Also I want to note that the base colour made no difference afterwards. On all my nails I saw the same colours.
I took my nails to the beach as well so here is a bonus shot ^_^
I had this mani on for a good 7 days before removing it and even at the 7th day it looked as good as new. It was with a heavy heart that I removed it to move on to the next one.
If you ever want to treat your nails to a unique nail colour, I highly recommend this one. It is of great quality and the end result is amazing and will definitely attract attention to your nails!
On information where to buy this beauty check my Ozotic haul post.

My nails for Christmas day
Hello everyone ^_^/
Wow, I cannot believe it has been a week already since my last post. I've been meaning to post this much sooner but somehow I didn't find the time. Oh, well, better late than never, right?
So this is the manicure I had on for Christmas day.
The main polish I used was Zoya Crystal. Such a lovely colour, with two coats my nails looked fabulous!
But since it was for Christmas I wanted to add something extra.
So I frosted the tips with ColorClub Snowflakes and then using silver, pink and golden spangles I made a Christmas Tree on a finger of each hand. Sealed everything with a coat of Seche and I was done.
I was very pleased with this manicure as it wore really well for 5 whole days.
How was your Christmas everyone?I hope you had fun with your loved ones ^_^
This year is almost finished, I cannot believe it went by so fast.
Less than two days left for 2010!

A black manicure with lots of sparkle
Hello everyone ^_^/
how are you today?
Just a few days now left for Christmas, weeeeee I'm so excited.
Today I will share a black manicure with a twist. I was inspired to do this by various nail art designs that I saw on Japanese nail magazines. It can be worn for the festive season too.
Essence Fatal
BB Couture Spellbound (from my awesome Overall Beauty haul that I will be posting about soon)
Zoya Nova
silver spangles in various sizes
Seche Vite top coat
I painted all the fingers except one on each hand black. Then the two accent fingers that I chose were painted with Spellbound and then Nova. Added the spangles on the black nails forming various lines, topped with Seche and done.
I was so happy with this one that I didn't want to take it off. And as you can see when the light hits it, it's a really sparkly and eye catching manicure! I think I might be doing something similar for New Year's, but with different colours ^_^

Zoya Edyta & Konading
Hello everyone ^_^/
It's 6 am over here and I am still unable to go to sleep. So I decided to share my latest favourite nail colour with you all instead.
It's Zoya Edyta. I have been seeing swatches of this beauty all over the blogosphere so I decided it needed to be on my nails asap. Can I say I'm in love? A dark lovely colour with golden shimmer which look fabulous after just two coats. Added a coat of Seche for extra shine.

After wearing it for a couple of days I decided to spice it up a bit with some nail stamping. Using China Glaze 2030 and Konad plate m61 I added these lovely flower designs.
I think the colours worked really well together, what do you think?

Zoya snowsicle and a gradation tutorial
Hello everyone ^_^/
It is a lovely cool summer morning and I am finally feeling better, yay!
Thank you so much to everyone for your get well wishes and also to everyone who has entered my giveaway. If you haven't entered yet, it is open until August 10 so there is plenty of time.
Today I want to share a purple gradation nail tutorial that I did a few weeks ago.
I did it using Zoya Snowsicle as my base. I really like this colour because even though it's sheer it is very sparkly and pretty. In the photo I am wearing two coats without top coat. Pretty nice, isn't it?

Here is what you are going to need for this tutorial.

Base coat and top coat, a fairly light colour as your gradation base (I used Zoya Snowsicle), and two purple colours, one lighter and one darker (I used OPI's Do You Lilac It and Purple With A Purpose), a purple glitter (I used BarryM's Lavender Hexograms) and a piece of a make up sponge.
After applying base coat and two layers of the gradation base colour, it is time to use the sponge. Drop a bit of the ligther colour on a piece of paper and then dab the sponge in it. Gently press the sponge on the top 2/3 parts of your nail until it is covered with the colour. Then take the darker colour, do the same and this time cover the top 1/3 of your nail. To add extra sparkle apply a layer of the glitter polish.
Then top coat and you are done ^_^

I had a lot of fun doing this and it was actually my first time trying the sponging effect. I have seen quite a few tutorials both online and on magazines and I have to admit it was easier than I thought.
I hope you enjoyed this tutorial.
Have a lovely day everyone :)

Nail haul and an award
Hello everyone ^_^/
Finally some free time in my hands, yay.
It was a good chance to play around with my blog a bit, so I have a new look.
I think it is much better than the previous one. Still I plan to spice it up a bit more in the future.
But this is not the main reason why I am making this post.
First of all I present to you all the nail haul of doom XD
After reading all your lovely posts my wishlist started growing and growing so I got me some new nail polishes.
Here they are :)
Nubar
Star Sparkle, Silver Sword, Knight's Armor

Peacock Feathers, Violet Sparkle, Treasure

China Glaze 5 Golden Rings and Cheek to Cheek, Essie Chocolate Kisses

And last but not least
Zoya
Snowsicle, Diana, Mimi

I have so many plans for these polishes ufufufufu.
And the second point of this post is the stylish blogger award that was given to me by the lovely 'Chelle of Cosmetic Cupcake. Even though my blog is still new, she was kind enough to award it. Thank you so very very much ♥

The rules are: Copy the award above, place it on your blog - link your blog back to me and name five things about yourself! Then pick 5 bloggers you'd like to tag with this same award.
So five things about me
1. I am a shopaholic. There are times that I shop to the death although recently I have cut down a lot thank goodness, because my finances have been suffering all these years.
2. I love learning new languages. So far I can speak English, Italian, German, Japanese and Greek of course but I wish I had the time to study more.
3. I hate housework. And when we say hate, we mean hate. Ironing, launry, you name it, I hate it. But thank goodness my husband is a sweetie and we share the housework between us so I manage somehow.
4. Whenever I get the chance I love to pop on a plane and travel around. My favourite destinations are London and Tokyo but I love discovering new places too.
5. My favourite colour is purple and I am not afraid to show it. Anything purple attracts me in a second. Even my house and most of my clothes and accessories are purple.
And the five lovely stylish bloggers that I want to award this to are the following (they are all equally amazing in no particular order)
Lily Nail
Painted Lady Fingers
Miss Lumpy
Emerald Sparkled
Gatumi
Wow this was one long post.
Have a lovely weekend everyone ♥
