Japan haul pt1, TiNs & Jill Stuart
Hello everyone ^_^/
I hope you all had a nice weekend.
Today I will show you some of the polishes I have brought home from Japan.
First off, one of my favourite brands, TiNS.
This brand can be found mostly in Japan and maybe a few other Asian countries and it has some of the prettiest glitters I have ever seen. Excellent on it's own but also perfect for layering and gradation manicures. Here are the colours I got, swatched on a nail wheel, two coats each.
From left to right
023 the Neptune, 064 the Immediately Sexy, 034 the Holiday Cheer, 036 the Exotic Lotus, 058 the Frozen Style Icon
The second brand I will share today is Jill Stuart.
Jill Stuart cosmetics have become insanely popular in Japan lately and this includes the nail polish line as well. The most impressive thing about these polishes are the lovely bottles. The colours are quite subtle and unfortunately the details are impossible to capture on camera. As you can see, three of the four colours look almost the same in the pic but believe me they are not. These polishes are great for work or a subtle look like a french manicure with a bit of sparkle. Two coats each.
From left to right the colours are
46 Shiny Prism, 44 Sweet Venus, 17 Purple Rain, 22 Misty Flash
What do you think about these colours? Are you interested in hard to find nail polishes?
If so check out my Big in Japan Giveaway for a chance to win some hard to find nail polishes from Japan. Open until October 15 ^_^

Vacation manicures
Hello everyone ^_^/
I am slowly settling in again and trying to get back to my normal daily routine (why does work pile up when you go on vacation? meh) so in the meantime and while I prepare some posts that I have in mind here are a couple of manicures I did for my friend S. while on vacation. All the polishes, tools and accessories we used were purchased in Tokyo.
For the first look I used a pinkish red Anna Sui polish, a Kate glitter and 3D white rose stickers. Sealed everything with two coats of special Gel look top coat.

For the second look I used a white Jill Stuart polish with pink shimmer and a blue glittery Anna Sui polish. The cute kitty stickers are actual stickers bought from Tokyu Hands. Everything was sealed together with Anna Sui topcoat.

I have more vacation manis to share but it will have to be in another post.
I hope you enjoyed these two looks. S. and me had a lot of fun with them ^_^

Sparkly purple manicure - Tins & Jill Stuart polishes
Hello everyone ^_^/
I am slowly unpacking my suitcase and getting settled back home but as I have uploaded my vacation pics on the pc I have a few vacation manis to share.
The first one is my favourite as it looked fabulous and it lasted me for a whole week (I took this off just yesterday after it was ruined by dragging my suitcase around).

For this manicure I used Estessimo Tins #023, The Neptune and Jill Stuart 17, Purple Rain. Also added some purple heart spangles and sealed it with a layer of gel look top coat that I got in Japan.
